A member of the Cayuga Ear, Nose, Throat - Head & Neck Surgery team is a licensed audiologist. 
 
With a sound booth and state-of the-art audiometer, otoacoustic emission (OAE) testing and electronystagmography (ENG) we are able to diagnose all types of hearing loss and perform comprehensive evaluations for vertigo. 
 
By law physicians in New York State cannot dispense hearing aids for patients.  Therefore we do not dispense hearing aids. However, by federal law a patient must first have a physician evaluation before purchasing a hearing aid.  
 
After your evaluation, if needed you will receive medical clearance for hearing aids and recommendations as to the best hearing aid type for you.
