There is always a Cayuga Ear, Nose, Throat - Head & Neck Surgery on-call provider available for emergencies.  Please remember that after hours they are available for urgent medical care and not for routine questions or prescription refills.  If you think you are having a life-threatening emergency call 911.

To reach the on-call provider when the office is closed call the regular office number at (607) 266-0772.  The phone will be answered by an automatic answering system that will instruct you on how to leave a message for the on-call provider.  Leave a detailed message including your name, telephone number, and the reason for the call.

Remember to speak slowly and clearly.  The system will automatically call the on-call provider.  If you do not get a call back within 30 minutes please call again and leave another message. On rare occasions, there can be a malfunction of the system.  If after the second try you still do not get a call back call the Cayuga Medical Center at (607) 274-4011 and ask the operator to call the ENT on call.  Explain to them what the problem is so they can call our private numbers.
